Varsity Swimming Gives Their All at Districts
The varsity swimming team competed in the Class 1A District 6 Tournament on 10/22/25 at Indian River State College's Pool in Fort Pierce. The Pirates give it their all in their events, with the boys and girls teams both placing 11th overall.
Both Maya Shah and Alexander Wolek will advance to Regionals with their finishes, with Shah placing 2nd in both the Girls 50 Freestyle and the Girls 100 Freestyle disability events as classified by FHSAA to immediately advance, and Wolek finishing 14th in the Boys 100 Breaststroke to secure an at-large bid

In team events, the girls relay team of Storbjoerk, Cetrulo, Hauf, and Wang finished the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay in 9th place (2:13.16).
In the boys team events, the relay team of Wolek, Newman, Miles, and Burris placed 14th in the 200 Yard Medley Relay (2:16.60). The relay team of Wolek, Burris, Miles, and Newman finished in 11th place in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay (1:55.16).
