Introducing the New National Art Honor Society Officers

We are excited to announce the new officers of the National Art Honor Society:
  • President: Matthew Barrett ’26
  • Vice President: Katya Combs ’26
  • Secretary/Social Liaison: Tullia Knight ’27
  • Historian: Jenessa Kendall ’27
  • Treasurer: Maia Wallace ’26
The National Art Honor Society (NAHS), established by the National Art Education Association in 1978, recognizes high school students who demonstrate outstanding achievement and interest in the visual arts. Saint Edward’s School launched its chapter in 2023, and this marks the first year officers have been elected. Each of the newly selected officers has completed an AP Art & Design Portfolio, exhibited artwork in multiple shows both on and off campus, and earned recognition in prestigious competitions such as the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and the Congressional Art Competition.

Most recently, the officers helped install an upcoming exhibition, Reflections ll, at Raw Space, opening Friday, September 5, at 5:00 p.m. The community is invited to enjoy an inspiring evening of art featuring works by AP Art students, faculty and alumni, along with live music by Saint Edward’s students. Bring your friends and family to celebrate creativity, connection and the arts!
