Food Drive Success: 14,850 Pounds Collected!

Fr. John Barrett
The annual Saint Edward’s School Food Drive benefiting The Food Pantry of Indian River County recently wrapped up with an incredible 14,850 pounds of food collected! All three divisions of the School came together during the two-week drive to support local families in need.

Food Pantry Director Scott Turner shared that this donation will help feed 1,500 people for three weeks, a remarkable impact made possible by our community. Students from across campus pitched in to help load the pantry trailer to full capacity, showing what can be accomplished when we work together. Over the past five years, donations have continued to grow, and this year’s total is one of our best yet. Thank you to our students and their families for their generosity, to the Community Service Club and Father Barrett for leading the charge and to our dedicated maintenance crew for lending a hand behind the scenes!
