Varsity Cross Country Competes in Large South Fork Invite
On 10/4/25, the varsity boys and girls cross country teams competed in the South Fork Invitational at South Fork High School in Stuart. Despite the wet, muddy conditions, the boys team finished 12th overall out of 28 teams.
Jack Curley led the varsity boys team in the race, finishing 3rd overall individually with 16:56.5. Jamin Dunham placed 40th with 18:42.9. Chris Perrin finished in 85th place at 20:11.9, followed closely by Cam Perrin in 88th place with 20:16.1. Rounding out scoring for the boys team was Reef Blackman in 138th place at 22:02.3.
Jacquelyn Perrin led the Pirate team in the varsity girls race, finishing 11th with 20:04.7. Nahlia Hebig finished in 47th place at 22:39.5, and Cadence Callaghan placed 54th with 22:57.7. Emma Ramsay completed the race at 110th place with 25:54.3.
In the junior varsity boys race, Ian Wallace set a personal best time of 21:49.9 and finished 34th. In the junior varsity girls race, Linley Davis-Curley came in 42nd place with her time of 31:17.0.
Next meet is away on 10/18/25 at the Shark Invitational, starting at 7:30 AM at Sebastian River High School in Sebastian.
