Varsity Boys Weightlifting Sets Personal Records at Regional Meet

On 4/10/21, the varsity boys weightlifting team traveled to Coral Shores High School in Tavernier to compete in the Class 1A Region 4 meet. The Pirate team set 18 personal records, and 6 of the lifters made all 6 of their lifts.

Ben Evans, junior, placed 6th overall in the 129 lb. division. Pirate lifter Leonardo Wang, junior, placed 2nd overall and qualified for the Class 1A State Tournament in the 154 lb. division as the #15 seed.
