- winning district finals in volleyball my junior year of high school.
- Give a shoutout to your favorite class, teacher, mentor or coach!
- I always enjoyed having english with Mrs. Barnes 10th and 11th! She made the learning environment peaceful and helpful. Her knowledge in her subject led me to be quite successful on exams that helped me get to where I am today.
- What’s something you accomplished at SES that your freshman-year self would be impressed by?
- In my junior year, I became one of the United Pirate Orientation leaders. I carried this on into my senior year. My freshman-year self would be very impressed that I took on this leadership role, putting myself out there to talk in the Waxlax in front of more than 70 people. As a freshman, I didn't really like public speaking, but after being the leader of this orientation, I am much more comfortable with it.
- Drop some wisdom—what’s one piece of advice you’d give to an underclassman?
- One piece of advice I would give to underclassman is that every year of high school counts whether thats academically, socially, or athletically. However, mainly academically. Many people think your junior and senior year are the only years in school that define your high school academic career, but freshman and sophomore year greatly impact you academically as you're getting ready to apply for colleges. So always try hard in every class no matter what grade you are in because it all adds up in the end.
