Mr. Chad Miller, known for celebrating his math students' success in Mu Alpha Theta, is now being recognized himself! He has been selected for the 2024 Edyth May Sliffe Award for his dedication to inspiring students in mathematics and academic excellence. This prestigious award honors exceptional middle and high school teachers who foster student engagement through the MAA American Mathematics Competitions (MAA AMC), which attract 300,000 participants worldwide each year. With a record number of nominations, only 29 teachers were chosen, underscoring the impact of educators like Mr. Miller in shaping young mathematicians. Congratulations!
