Every spring, students in the junior class are tasked with writing and delivering a humorous speech, and the Class of 2026 delivered the laughs this year. The pressure increases incrementally, as the semi-finalists compete in Mrs. Barnes's standing room only classroom. Once the three finalists are announced, the audience and the venue grow even larger. This week, Findlay Beckwith lamented her (inaccurate) status as a Native American, Wyatt Burdick celebrated a notable family trait, and Matthew Barrett provided some insight into what it's like to be a "PK." Want to learn more? Set aside about 10 minutes of time to watch their videos, and prepare for belly laughs. These students brought the heat, and the winner will be announced next week. Congratulations, Wyatt, Findlay and Matthew, on a job very well done!
