Launching a Love of Science

Before the school year wrapped up, our eighth graders took to the field for their science grand finale: designing, building and launching water bottle rockets. Students gathered in teams, each aiming for the same goal: maximum airtime. With a countdown echoing across the field, rockets shot skyward, some spinning, some soaring and a few taking unexpected detours.

In the end, it wasn’t just about whose rocket stayed up the longest; it was about launching a lifelong love of learning! Click here for the highlights reel, and thank you to Mr. (Science) Rogers for guiding this exciting launch.
