Honoring Service, Celebrating Community

Over the past two weeks, the Saint Edward’s community has come together in a beautiful display of gratitude and respect for those who have served our country. From the inspiring Flag the Lawn fundraiser, led by Brody Crookshank '27 and student volunteers, that raised over $1700 for Military Moms to thoughtful moments in Advocacy, Chapel and classrooms, our campus was filled with Pirate pride and patriotic spirit.

Special thanks to Mrs. Bischoff '01, Mrs. Infanzón, Mr. Mitchell and Mrs. Stalquist for coordinating this series of events. Highlights included senior Reese Fox’s performance of the National Anthem, a Veterans Day presentation over the intercom led by Mr. Nirenberg, Connor O’Brien '26 and Father Barrett, insights from Shelly Kirkland '00 with the Boot Campaign, Pam Proctor with Military Moms and Dr. Hirstein and a closing performance of America the Beautiful by the Praise Band in Chapel today.

Thank you to everyone who helped make these tributes possible, your efforts reminded us all of the importance of honoring service, sacrifice and community. Please click the headline for more photos.
