Both Varsity Cross Country Teams Moving On to States

On 11/14/25, the varsity boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Class 1A Region 4 Tournament at South County Regional Park in Boca Raton. The Pirates, going up against the top 16 teams in the Region, ran well on the course, and for the first time in school history, both teams qualified for the Class 1A State Championship in the same year. The girls team placed 5th overall, and the boys team finished in 8th place.

In the girls race, Jacquelyn Perrin was crowned Regional Champion with her first place finish time of 18:58.6. Nahlia Hebig finished 24th place with a new personal record of 21:47.5. Sophie Cooper placed 30th with a 22:09.4, and Cadence Callaghan saw a 46th place finish with 22:49.3. Emma Ramsay finished 83rd with 25:42.1, and Isabella Peter placed 86th with 25:54.5.
 
Jack Curley led the way for the boys team, finishing 7th overall in 16:59.9. Jamin Dunham set a new personal record, finishing 17th overall in 17:34.1. Chris Perrin placed 51st with a personal best time of 19:03.3 with teammate Cam Perrin right on his heels, finishing 52nd with a personal record of 19:07.8. Reef Blackman finished 61st for the Pirates with 19:16.2, and Ian Wallace placed 90th with his personal record time of 20:18.4.
 
Next meet is the Class 1A State Championship on 11/22/25, starting 9:25 AM at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee.
