Second Grade Scientists Test Water’s Superpower

Mr. Ange’s second-grade classes turned into young scientists as they carefully dropped water onto a shiny penny, one tiny drop at a time. They were amazed to see the water pile up like a little bubble, learning that water molecules like to stick together—a concept called cohesion. Excited guesses and cheers filled the room as they tested how many drops the penny could hold before the dome finally spilled over!
