Grace Griffeth: Senior Spotlight

  1. When did you start at Saint Edward's?
    • 4th Grade
  2. What were your favorite extracurriculars?
    • Volleyball, Choir, and Book Club
  3. What’s your “core memory” from SES?
    • Our class trip sophomore year when we went to the keys. We got to go snorkeling at a gorgeous reef where my friends and I swam near a black-tip reef shark.
  4. Give a shoutout to your favorite class, teacher, mentor or coach!
    • Thank you to Mrs. Baker for being such an amazing math teacher, but also someone that I was able to talk to about anything and everything. Whether I needed extra help with math or just a place to go, your door was always open. I don't know what I would've done with out you. Thank you!
  5. What’s something you accomplished at SES that your freshman-year self would be impressed by?
    • Outside of simply getting into college, my freshman-year self would be impressed that I've worked really hard to not overthink everything, and that I have become more outgoing whether that is with taking advantage of opportunities or simply being with my classmates.
  6. Drop some wisdom—what’s one piece of advice you’d give to an underclassman?
    • Don't let your worries hold you back. At the end of the day, high school is only a short period of time in your life, so make the best of it. Appreciate the highs and the lows, because nothing is permanent no matter how imposing it may seem at the time.
