Phenomenal Finish for Varsity Track & Field at State Championship

The varsity track and field qualifiers traveled to Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville on 5/10/25 to compete in the Class 1A State Championship. First up was the boys 4x800m relay team consisting of Jay Leibik, Nicky Colontrelle, Spencer Taft, and Jack Curley. The relay team saw an 18th place finish at 8:49.41. In her track event, Jacquelyn Perrin had a good showing in the 800m as a huge pack of athletes fought for 6th-16th place and were separated by only 3 seconds. Perrin grabbed a 9th place finish with a new personal record of 2:22.89. That mark earned her an automatic bid to New Balance Nationals in June.
