JV Girls Volleyball Prevails Over Cougars
The junior varsity girls volleyball team hit the road on 9/18/25 for Merritt Island to take on Merritt Island Christian School. After narrowly losing the competitive first set 23-25, the determined Pirate team rallied against the Cougars, stunning them with a 27-25 2nd set victory. Recharged, the Pirates took down their opponents 15-9 in the 3rd set to clinch the matchup.
The Pirate serve and receive lines were both secured by Piper McCollom and Ashley Dube. In the defensive line, Helena Jefferson and Mia Perez each provided a strong presence. Additionally, the front line was led by Bella Fontana and Frankie Hall, who each received multiple kills while eliminating errors.
