Muddy Race Day for Varsity Cross Country at Jensen Beach Invite
The varsity boys and girls cross country team attended the Jensen Beach Invitational on 9/27/25 at Jensen Beach High School in Jensen Beach. The course was soaked by rain overnight, turning the grassy sections of the course into long mud pits over the course of the day, but the Pirate team didn't let the conditions deter them. The girls team finished 4th overall out of 23 teams, and the boys team placed 6th.
For the varsity boys team, Jack Curley captured a 3rd place individual finish with 17:09.3. Jamin Dunham set a personal record with 18:27.4 to place 20th. Chris Perrin clocked in at 19:29.6 to place 45th, and Cam Perrin hit a personal best time of 19:49.7 to place 52nd. Reef Blackman rounded out the boys team score with his 82nd place finish at 21:01.3.

Sophie Cooper finished 39th with 23:56.2, and Cadence Callaghan placed 44th with 24:19.7. Emma Ramsay capped the scoring for the Pirates with her 62nd place finish at 25:21.7.
