The Board of Trustees at any school plays a critical role in their school community. The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), of which we are members, states that, “The board is the guardian of the school’s mission. It is the board’s responsibility to ensure that the mission is relevant and vital to the community it serves and to monitor the success of the school in fulfilling its mission.”
Trustees are charged with acting as fiduciaries, ensuring the school's long-term financial health. They also provide strategic direction, set broad policies, approve the budget and support fundraising efforts.
I am deeply grateful for the time, expertise and passion our Trustees dedicate to this important work. Their leadership allows me, along with our leadership team, faculty and staff, to focus on what matters most: providing an excellent education and nurturing environment for our students.
Please join me in thanking our Board of Trustees for their steadfast guidance and tireless devotion to Saint Edward’s School. Our community is stronger because of their service.
