Soup Bowl Volunteers Needed

(lk)
Dear Parents, please help! We are about 25 soups short! Sign up below! Don’t miss out on one of the BEST days at Saint Edward’s School!  On Thursday, November 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saint Edwards School is participating in the county-wide Soup Bowl. Donations to this event benefit the local homeless shelter, The Samaritan Center.  We need parent volunteers to make and serve soup to the middle school and upper school students. The students will donate money to the Samaritan Center and enjoy soup for lunch.

When: Thursday, November 7 from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m.
Where: Wachter Activities Center, Saint Edwards School

For middle school and upper school parents, you may drop off your crockpot of soup in the morning from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. in front of the fountain at the Benedict Library. You may also bring in your soup at 11:30 a.m. if that works better for you. We will have carts to transport your soup.  The crockpots will be plugged in and set on “warm” in the Wachter Activities Center.  Please return at 11:50 to serve it.  Don’t forget your ladle!  If you are unable to serve but love to cook and want to provide a crockpot of soup, please do! Just let us know so we can add you to the crockpot count. Your help will be greatly appreciated!
