MS Golf Opens Season Strong on the Road
The middle school golf team opened their season on 4/20/22 with an away match at Stuart Yacht and Country Club in Stuart. The boys team played against Pine School and The Benjamin School, and the girls team went head-to-head with the Pine School. The Pirates came in 2nd against The Benjamin School's 145 for 1st place and The Pine School's 237 for 3rd place. The Lady Pirates defeated the Lady Knights on the course 85-92.
For the boys team, Jack Curley led the team with 42 and was followed closely by teammate Graham Hutton with 45. Also contributing great scores for the Pirate team were Bobby Varrichio with 47 and Spencer Taft with 49.
The girls team only played 4 or 5 holes due to time constraints. Playing 5 holes for the Lady Pirates, Grier Dugger collected a 33 on the course. Completing 4 holes were Lilli Hagemeier with 25 and Keira Carroll with 27.
