PIPS Book of the Month: September

Karen Langsam
The gift that keeps on giving...  A dear friend of mine, and the woman that birthed Parents in Prayer and Service (PIPS), Barbara Barrett, gave all of us a gift after our first season of praying together for our beloved school. That gift was a small book of short, powerful prayers for ourselves and our children, which became one of my favorites.

The pages of my book are worn and many are earmarked as a reminder to pray that specific prayer again, probably because it fit exactly what my child(ren) needed at the time. I am thankful to have such a dear friend that shared her treasured prayer book. As a result of her gift, my first recommended book on prayer is The Power of a Praying Mom by Stormie Omartian. Dad’s, we have you covered. Stormie has a similar small book of powerful prayers called The Power of a Praying Parent. Below are the book covers and Stormie’s website. Grace, peace, and love, Karen Langsam
