Saint Edward's Athletes Earn National Attention

Recently, several Saint Edward's School athletes were recognized for their excellence on the field by national organizations. Boys soccer players junior Pato Argote and senior Brogan Buck were recognized as members of the All-Florida State team by the US Soccer Federation of Coaches. Argote scored 20 goals in as many games and added 11 assists for the Pirates. Buck, who was chosen to play on the FACA All-Star team, netted 18 goals and 27 assists on the season. The combo of Argote and Buck led the Pirates to a 16-4-1 finish on the season. 
Senior boys lacrosse player Ford Norris was recognized as a High School All-American by US Lacrosse, making him the second player in school history to receive this honor, after Pirate alumnus Terrell Sands '14. Norris, an attackman, scored 36 goals in 18 games and added 44 assists for the Pirates, who finished 13-6 on the season. In his career, Ford scored a whopping 100 goals and accumulated 70 assists. He will attend and play lacrosse at Manhattan College in the fall.
