New Faculty/Staff Spotlight 2023: Meet B.J. Van Hest, US Humanities Teacher

Meet B.J. Van Hest! As a former Pirate and faculty member, she may already sport a familiar face. For those who may be new to the school, B.J. worked for Saint Edward’s for 15 years. Before coming to SES, she graduated from the University of Maryland with her Bachelor of Science in psychology and education. She also lived overseas in 5 countries and appreciates and respects all cultures. At Saint Edward's, she held various positions, from educating students in the importance of self defense to teaching sociology. She says, "I can't wait to meet my new students and get to know them! I am excited about my curriculum and hope to get my students excited about it as well!" We are excited to have our Pirate back with us!
