New Faculty/Staff Spotlight 2023: Meet Karina Dvoskin, MS Math and Science Teacher

Meet Karina Dvoskin! Originally from Montreal, Karina grew up in Miami and received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Florida International University; she also has a master’s degree in middle school curriculum and instruction in mathematics education. She has previously worked as a teacher at Riviera Preparatory School in Miami, St. John Neumann Catholic School and Leewood K-8 Center. She says, "I was lucky to have many teachers who encouraged my love of learning. One of my favorite teachers was my biology teacher, Mrs. Graham. She was so knowledgeable and shared her excitement with her students. She encouraged us to push ourselves to be our best." We know that Karina will encourage her students in the same way, and we look forward to having her aboard our Pirate Ship!
