Varsity Equestrian Alcalay Sees Success in Spring Shows
Freshman varsity equestrian athlete Freddie Alcalay has been back in the arena recently, jumping with her horse Perry Girl and debuting in the equitation ring with her horse Quinn. Competing over Spring Break in the Winter Spectacular XI at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, she placed 3rd and 7th in the .90 Novice Junior Jumper and 8th in the .95 Jumper Classic.
More recently, Alcalay took part in the 2025 ESP Spring 4 at Wellington International in Wellington. In the .95 Training Jumper, she received 3rd and 5th place. She also secured 3rd, 4th, and 5th place ribbons in the 2’6” Child/Adult Equitation to conclude her successful season.
