Varsity Boys Soccer Faces Off Against Jupiter Christian for the 1A District 8 Semifinals

The varsity boys soccer team competed in the Class 1A District 8 Semifinal game at Jupiter Christian School in Jupiter on 1/24/25. The Eagles scored the first goal against the Pirates in the first half, but the Pirates came back in the 2nd half to tie the score 1-1, with William Kourakis scoring the goal off an assist by Alex Rojas. The game went into a penalty shootout, with Kourakis, Bobby Campbell, César Dato-Slattery, and Reid Durham all scoring penalty goals. Connor O'Brien, who made 20 saves at goal, had 1 penalty save in the game. The Pirates remained determined through the end but ultimately were overcome by the Eagles in the shootout, falling 1-1 (5-4).
