FACA Nominations Announced for Basketball and Soccer
The Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) has revealed its nominations for Player of the Year and Coach of the Year for the 2024-25 winter season:
Varsity Girls Basketball
Avonti Jennings, freshman, has been selected as Class 1A's Player of the Year for girls basketball. Coach David Rogers has been nominated as Class 1A Coach of the Year for girls basketball as well with his 15-5 season record.
Varsity Boys Soccer
William Kourakis, junior, has been selected as Class 1A's Player of the Year for boys soccer.
