Marine science students conducted research studies in the Indian River Lagoon this year as part of a grant through the Indian River Lagoon Council and National Estuary Program. As part of their research, students identified:
1. The importance of quality water, sediment and habitats. 2. Anthropogenic (human) impacts on the lagoon. 3. Ways each of us may help restore and protect the lagoon.
Students created posters that were disseminated throughout the community to bring awareness to simple ways we may each improve the quality of the lagoon! Click on the headline of this story to view the posters, and for more information visit: https://onelagoon.org/steps-to-success/
