MS Boys Basketball's Blue Team Nets Thrilling Season Opening Win

On 11/11/24, the blue team for middle school basketball started their season off at home in the Wachter Activities Center against Morningside Academy. The Pirates dominated the first half 11-3 but saw the Eagles come back in the 3rd quarter. Going into the 4th quarter at a close 15-13, the Pirates were successful at defensively holding back the Eagles on the floor to claim the ultimate 18-14 victory.

Turner Barnett led the scoreboard for the Pirate team with 8 points. Chris Curley netted 6 points in the victory. Teammates Jackson Parker and Kayleb Redmon added 2 points each.
