Blue Team for MS Boys Basketball Ropes Win Away from Cowboys
The blue team for middle school boys basketball hosted Sebastian River Middle School in the Wachter Activities Center on 12/2/24. The Pirates and Cowboys wrestled for control of the court in the first quarter with a 3-3 tie. By the half, the Pirates began their pull away with 13-10. Third quarter saw the Pirates maintain the narrow lead with 18-16. The determined Pirates pushed ahead fourth quarter and never looked back, seizing the victory 26-17 over the Cowboys.
Kayleb Redmon sounded the battle cry on the court for the Pirates, racking up 11 points toward the win. Christian Alfonso netted 4 points for the team, and Turner Barnett sank 4 points, including 2 fourth quarter free throws. Jackson Parker recorded a basket and a free throw (3 points) for the Pirates, and teammates Nolan Ange and Chris Curley added 2 points to round out the successful game for the Pirate team.
