On the Road Win for MS Boys Basketball's Blue Team
On 12/9/24, the blue team for middle school boys basketball hit the road for Hobe Sound to take on The Pine School Knights. The Pirates saw competitive action in the first quarter, leading 12-10. Strong defense by the Pirates helped the team pull away in the 2nd quarter, with the Pirates reaching halftime with a 24-15 lead. Never looking back, the Pirates walked away with a 43-26 win over the Knights. The win improves the blue team's season record to 5-2.
Scoring for the Pirate team was led by Chris Curley with 13 points. Christian Alfonso netted 8 points, and teammates Turner Barnett, Kayleb Redmon, and Jackson Parker contributed 6 points apiece toward the victory. Finn Conforti added 4 points toward the Pirates' successful day.
