Maria Searcy: Six Question Senior Spotlight
1) Year you became a Pirate: 2018
2) Top three favorite things you participated in at SES: theater, Pals Day, and art
3) Favorite SES memory: The rafting trip at the beginning of freshman year. Many of the people I got to know on the 14-hour bus ride there are still some of my best friends today :)
4) Favorite class and/or teacher: I have loved having Mrs. Jenkins, Mr. Lee, Mrs. Barnes, Dr. Mohr, Mr. Kruger and Sra. Heard
5) Proudest SES achievement: Receiving a perfect score on a piece I performed at a Spanish competition.
6) Piece of advice for current SES students: Try your best but don't overwork yourself in terms of academics. Take care of yourself mentally first! Have fun with your friends and enjoy every moment you can. <3
