Edtech Tool of the Week: GarageBand

You know it for music creation, but the sixth grade has begun using this tool as a way to curate and create sounds, interviews and audio to create their own podcasts for the NPR Podcast Challenge. Students in Mrs. Durand's sixth grade English class will spend their Fridays delving into telling their own podcasting stories. Check out a favorite podcast: Kind World. "Kind World is a show about compassion. Through stories, big and small, we explore the effect one act can have on a life, to better understand each other and ourselves."
