Varsity Girls Lacrosse Battles for the Win

The girls varsity lacrosse team traveled to Viera High School in Viera and defeated the Lady Hawks by a score of 16-12 on 4/8/19. This was a hard-fought game for the Lady Pirates that remained close throughout the majority of the contest. Hailey Rhymes led the scoring with 6 goals and 3 assists, followed by Elizabeth Zoltak 4 goals, Raleigh Cooper 3 goals, 2 assists, Catalina Pratt 2 goals, 3 assists and Lauren Savage 1 goal, 1 assist. Goalie Jane Callaghan had 5 saves, and Izzy Jennings had 6 saves in her first appearance since returning from injured status.

The Lady Pirates play their last game on 4/10/19 (Senior Night) with a 4:30 p.m. start time against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy from Melbourne.
