(lk)
Casey Richey threw a gem on 4/16/19, for the varsity baseball team who defeated Berean Christian School from West Palm Beach at home by a score of 3-0 for their seventh win in a row this season.
The pitching was strong on both sides, but the Pirates got their offense started in the first inning when Travis Camp walked and Casey Richey singled.  The team followed up the single with walks drawn by Aidan Taylor and Corey Richey.  Richey and Camp scored on wild pitches giving the Pirates a 2-0 lead.  Richey scored in the bottom of the third on a sacrifice by Taylor. Casey Richey earned the win for the Pirates, throwing a complete game, allowing only two hits while striking out six and walking zero.  He also went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the team in hits.

Next game will be at Heritage High School in Palm Bay on 4/17/19 starting at 6:00 p.m.
