Successful Season Opening Meet for Varsity Girls Weightlifting
The varsity girls weightlifting team attended their first meet of the season at Frostproof High School on 11/4/20.
In her weight class, Jasmine Nunez recorded 80/75/155, collecting an impressive 4th place finish.
Newcomer Jessica Jiang placed 2nd for the Lady Pirates with lifts of 100/100, accumulating 200 lbs. total.
Lifting 75/80, Skye Corbin placed 2nd in her weight class with 155 lbs. total. She went 6 for 6 in her first meet with Saint Edward's School.
Teammate Meagan Baker placed 2nd in her division, going 6 for 6 and hitting 100/110 for a 200 lb. total.
