US Concert Fills the Air with Music and Art

This year has required creativity at every level, especially in the Fine Arts Department. When the Bakers took Annie viral, it opened up the possibilities to new ways to allow our students to perform safely. Enter Mr. Hengen's idea to hold a twilight concert and art show in the Lower School this week. The light and music were absolutely beautiful as the concert band performed a number of selections while parents watched from the upper balcony, surrounded by student artwork. For senior Cristina Pines, who had an opening solo, it was a symbolic moment. She said, "To be able to have our last performance in the place where it all started was pretty emotional for many of us."
