Varsity Boys Tennis Halts Hustlers
The varsity boys tennis team hosted Melbourne Central Catholic High School on 3/4/21 at Riverside Park Tennis Courts. The Pirates shut down the Hustlers on the court, winning 7-0. Their record has increased to 5-1 for the season.
Winning singles matches for the boys were Taran Taylor (8-1), Jake Damiani (8-2), Jacob Chesley (8-1), Jack Zoltak (8-0) and Sebastian Fernandez (8-0).
Winning the exhibition singles match for the Pirates was Cole Hackenburg (8-1).
Winning their #1 doubles match for the Pirates was the team of Taylor/Zoltak (8-6). Damiani/Chesley secured their #2 doubles match win 8-1 to ensure the shut out for the Pirates.
