MS Girls Lacrosse Team Shows Grit on Field

(lk)
The middle school girls lacrosse team headed to South County Park in Vero Beach on 3/24/21, to take on Saint Helen's School. The Lady Pirates started strong with Caroline Langsam scoring 3 goals in a row. Determined to win, CJ Fykes was victorious in more than 4 draws against the Lady Eagles. Goalie Olivia Stovall proved strong at defense, stopping well over five shots on the net.

Adding two more goals for the Lady Pirates was Adterria Holloway, with Sadie Howarth and Aerin Russell each providing an assist.  Howarth and Russell also went on to record their own goal apiece for the Lady Pirate team. Also scoring for the Lady Pirates was Kelly Lynch with a strategic cut into the net. Showing true teamwork, Howarth faked a shot during the free shot at the end of the game and executed a quick pass to Holloway. Holloway's successful goal allowed the Lady Pirates to end their game in a tie against the Lady Eagles, 11-11.

Next game is away on 3/26/21 at Benjamin Middle School in North Palm Beach, starting at 4:45 PM.
