This is eighth grader Taran Taylor's first year as a member of the varsity boys tennis team. For the month of March, Taylor has been 5-2 at the #1 singles position and 5-2 at the #1 doubles position. His only 2 losses for the month were against Vero Beach High School and The Benjamin School, both of whom are top-ranked teams in the state. Currently ranked #2 in the district at his position, Taylor will lead the charge for his team at the district tournaments as the Pirates hope to secure a spot in Regionals for the first time in 4 seasons.

Freshman Carrington Brown is in her inaugural year as a member of the varsity girls lacrosse team. A hardworking athlete, Brown has collected 12 goals, 4 assists, 18 shots on goal, and 6 ground balls for the Lady Pirates. An inherent leader, she constantly encourages the team with her positive attitude and strives to be a better player in all that she does.

This is junior Zander Beare's fourth year as a member of Saint Edward's School's varsity baseball team. In the month of March, Beare managed to record impressive offensive numbers. He held a .556 BA (Batting Average) and a .600 OBP (On-Base Percentage). Beare also maintained a 1.000 SLG (Slugging), going 5 for 9 with two doubles, one triple and 2 singles, and brought in a team-leading 4 RBI's (Runs Batted In).

Junior Neenah Brown has been a member of the varsity girls tennis team for three years. Brown has been solid at the #5 singles position with a 7-0 singles record for the month of March. In fact, she was the lone singles winner for the Lady Pirates in 3 of their 7 matches. She is the district favorite at her position heading into the district tournament on April 13.

This is junior Ben Evans's first year as a member of the varsity boys weightlifting team. Steadily improving throughout the entire season, Evans has put in a commendable amount of hard work and effort, including staying later to do the extra work necessary to take his training to the next level. At the time of his nomination, Evan's work ethic had already produced a 17% increase in his total with 4 weeks left in the season.
