Club sponsor Mrs. Malika Omawale says, "I am so proud of the students in the Social Justice Club for all their efforts this year which culminated in an exceptional publication of The Informant. They are a dedicated group of intelligent, caring, and socially conscious individuals, committed to creating a more equitable and just world. Throughout the year they came together to discuss important issues, and to organize and facilitate activities that promote and celebrate diversity and inclusion in our school community.  Saint Edward's School is blessed to have such an amazing group of inspirational and passionate students who will without a doubt make a positive impact here and in the wider world around them."
Art teacher Ms. Eliza Sherrier had this to say after reading the publication, " The big picture is easily ignored. It is much simpler to go about your work without acknowledging or remembering complicated issues like the displacement and persecution of the Roma population or the hard fact that environmental injustice impacts the poorest communities among us. When I read this text, I see a group of young people willing to stretch, willing to love, willing to care and work for what they believe in. Never doubt that you do important work each and every time you consider these social justice topics, or talk about them, or work to fix them. I am proud to be a member of a community that can produce such a text, and I congratulate all of you for your thoughtful and selfless work."
