Grey/Navy Team for MS Girls Basketball Soars Over Lady Eagles
On 1/12/23, the grey/navy team for middle school girls basketball hosted Sebastian Charter Junior High School in the Wachter Activities Center. Entering the 4th quarter, the Lady Pirates held a slim lead of 15-13. In their most exciting win of the season, the Lady Pirates downed the Lady Eagles on the court to claim a 25-21 victory.
Ava Powers had her best showing of the year for the Lady Pirates as the leading scorer with 6 points. Teammate Lily Chin added 5 of her own toward the win. In the final 20 seconds, Nahlia Hebig made an excellent crosscourt pass to find Anastasia Headley to put the Lady Pirates up by 4 to safely secure the victory.
