Varsity Football Takes on Okeechobee HS
On 8/31/23, the varsity football team hosted Okeechobee High School on the Michael J. Mersky Field. The Pirates kept it close through the first 3 quarters and only trailed by 13 at the half. Despite a giant push by the Pirate team, they fell to the Brahmans 0-44.
The Pirate defense recorded 4 turnovers in the game, with Mark Moore and Sean Stalheber both claiming an interception apiece. Teammates Seorim McLendon and Connor O'Brien both recovered a fumble for the Pirates. Leading tacklers for the week were Carson Yates and Connor O'Brien.
