Varsity Volleyball Vanquishes Master's Academy on the Court
The varsity volleyball team traveled to Master's Academy of Vero Beach on 9/5/23 to take on the Patriots. In an exciting 3-set game, the Pirates dominated the Patriots on the court to win 25-18, 25-23, 25-11.
Leading the team in kills with 9, Makena Rodriguez also recorded 14 digs, 1 assist, and 3 aces for the Pirates. Eilliotte Kahler provided necessary assistance on the floor for her team, tallying 19 assists, 6 digs, 2 aces, and 1 kill. Natalee Rogers was vital to the team's successful night with her 22 digs and 2 aces. Meagan Baker accumulated 6 kills, 2 aces, and 4 blocks for the Pirates, and teammate CJ Fykes added 3 kills, 3 aces, and 6 digs toward the win. Helping propel the Pirates to victory were Alice Crean with 2 kills and 6 digs, Sommer Soderman with 10 digs, and Khlieo Perez with 2 kills.
