MS Football Clinches Win at Home Over Bulldogs
On 9/14/23, the middle school football team competed in their first home game of the season against Berean Christian School on the Michael J. Mersky Field. The Pirate team tamed the Bulldogs on the field to win 22-14.
Dylan Colontrelle's pass to Chase Colontrelle resulted in a touchdown for the Pirate team, and Trip Williams collected a rushing touchdown as well. C. Colontrelle later forced a fumble, returned by Spencer Davis for a touchdown; and Chris Campbell amassed two 2-point conversion runs over the course of the game. On defense for the Pirates, Davis displayed a dominant defensive performance throughout the game that lended to the Pirate victory.
