JV Volleyball Triumphs Over Panthers
The junior varsity volleyball team hosted Calvary Christian School of Port St. Lucie on 9/18/23 in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. The Pirates subdued the Panthers on the court to claim a 2-set victory: 25-20, 25-18.
Piper McCollom led the Pirates with her contributions of 2 kills, 8 assists, and 2 aces, and teammate Joselyn Martin proved vital on the court for the team with 2 kills, 1 assist, and 4 aces. Leading the team in kills were Mia Maldonado, Caitlin Moscrip, and Halle Grella. Grella also provided 1 assist for the Pirate team. Nicollette Kennedy recorded 2 assists and 1 ace toward the victory. Also contributing toward the Pirate win were Jenessa Kendall - 2 kills, Cairi Infanzon - 2 assists, Leah Chin - 1 ace, and Tirzah Boulding - 1 assist.
