Varsity Volleyball Commands Victory Over Pineapple Cove
On 9/19/23, the varsity volleyball team took to the road to compete against Pineapple Cove Classical Academy in Palm Bay. The Pirates overwhelmed the Patriots on the court to capture the victory in 3 sets: 25-9, 25-12, 25-14.
Natalee Rogers recorded 2 kills, 18 assists, 2 aces, and 9 digs for the Pirates, and Meagan Baker tallied 11 kills, 1 ace, 7 digs, and 2 blocks. Leading the team in digs with 21, Makena Rodriguez also chipped in 2 assists and 5 aces. Alice Crean amassed 1 kill, 1 assist, 3 aces, and 4 digs in the victory. CJ Fykes added 4 kills, 1 ace, and 12 digs for the Pirates, and Gaby Collazo recorded 1 kill, 1 ace, and 5 digs. Also contributing vital kills toward the Pirate win were Sommer Soderman with 3, Khlieo Perez with 2, and Grace Griffeth with 1.
