MS Cross Country Teams Place High at Local Meet
The middle school cross country team competed against 5 other local middle school at the Sebastian Charter Junior High School 3K meet on 9/27/23 at Sebastian River High School. The girls team captured a 1st place overall finish, with all 6 athletes hitting person best times for the 3K distance, and the boys team secured 3rd place.
Jacquelyn Perrin won 1st place individually for the girls with a time of 13:02. Close behind were teammates Christina Wang in 4th with a time of 13:53, Charlie Cappelen in 5th with a time of 14:08, and Annabelle Timmermann in 6th with a time of 14:09.
Leading the boys team to victory was Dean Sincavage with a 3rd place finish time of 13:30, which was also a personal record. Jamin Dunham collected 11th place for the Pirates with a personal best of 12:47. Jaison Collins and Henry Logemann also hit personal records in the race to round out the team effort.
