MS Cross Country Participates in Veritas Invitational
On 10/3/23, the middle school cross country teams participated in the Veritas Middle School Invitational at Carlin Park in Jupiter. The boys team finished 3rd overall, with all 6 of the athletes who competed setting new personal best times for the 3K distance.
Out of 44 runners in the boys race, Dean Sincavage captured 6th place with 12:01 and Jamin Dunham secured 7th with 12:03. Finn Conforti placed 12th for the Pirates with 12:33, and Chris Curley placed 19th with a 13:52. Jaison Collins finished 22nd with 14:23, and teammate Henry Logemann finished 25th with 14:26.
In a field of 45 runners, the girls team was led by Annabelle Timmermann, who recorded 9th place with 13:11. Charlie Cappelen clocked in just behind in 10th place with 13:23. Linley Davis-Curley dropped 2.35 seconds off of her personal best for a 19:00.
