Grey Team for MS Volleyball Nets Win Over Eagles
On 9/29/23, the grey team for middle school girls volleyball took on Morningside Academy in the Wachter Activities Center. The Pirates soundly defeated the Eagles in 2 sets: 25-12, 25-18.
Strong serving, led by Ava Powers with 15 points and 4 aces, sealed the Pirates' last home game of the season. Also showing the power of their serves were Helena Jefferson with 9 points, Alice Cochrane with 7 points and 1 ace, and Bella Fontana with 9 serving points and 3 aces. Anastasia Headley and Sophie Cooper led the team in kills, and teammate Cami Colontrelle led the defense on the court for the Pirates.
