Close Match in Comeback by Varsity Boys Golf

The varsity boys golf team hosted King's Academy in a competitive match at Quail Valley Golf Club in Vero Beach on 10/10/23. The Pirates never waivered in their determination on the green and remained focused on their gameplay in spite of the heavy winds. Despite being down by 7 strokes, the Pirates rallied on the course, and their comeback allowed them to be only down 1 stroke by the end of the game as they narrowly fell to the Eagles 167-166. 

Brandon Cochrane led the Pirates with 40 and was followed closely by teammates Weston Mead with 41 and Harrison Hardin with 42. Bobby Varricchio's 44 rounded out the score for the Pirate team. Also playing for the Pirates were Will Russell with 50 and Jack Curley with 52.
